3.5 starsThese books are quick and easy to read and definitely have some really funny moments. This one was about Miki, who's human and Conall, who's a Viking wolf. The problem that I have, and this is the same with most of Shelly Laurenston's books, is that I can't seem to make a strong connection with the characters. They're always very similar, the girl tends to be kick-ass and "crazy" and can kind of grate on you a bit. The plot wasn't anything particularly unique but I probably would've enjoyed this one more if I hadn't have read it straight after Fair Game, which IMO was a better wolf story. That being said, these books are supposed to be light-hearted and funny, and it does achieve that.
