Even though this book is labelled a sci-fi and it takes place on a ship/in space, it reads very much like a PNR. No hard to understand, technical jargon so I think this book can be for anyone. The setting and races are unique. You can see by the end of the book who's going to be paired with who. I'm not desperate to read the next ones but I will continue the series at some point.
